Where do I begin?

My son, getting his first hug from another baby girl.

There is one thing I have learned from getting older...it is always something. There is always something going on in life that you have to deal with. My Great Aunt died last Tuesday. She was like another grandma to us. So we were in Iowa a majority of last week and last weekend.

Dillon is crawling and in to everything! He is standing in his crib, eating new foods...he is growing up.

So needless to say we are all tired and trying to recover. I am ready for life's pace to slow a little bit - yeah right, not with a child!

Pain in the neck!

I survived! Our youth event went very good. I am proud. Miss America was awesome! She is truly an advocate for our cause.

I did, however, get an awful pain in my neck. I mean bad! I can't explain to people how bad it hurts. I would rather give birth again! I can't sleep or move without it hurting. I went to the Dr on Thursday - she gave me muscle relaxers and told me to take a few days off. She thought it would be done by Monday - WRONG! I got a massage yesterday - did not help, but was nice! Anyway, I put in a call to her this morning. We'll see what she says.

Dillon is crawling in small spurts. He is really mobile now.

Today is my little brother's birthday! Have a good one!!

Look at this face!

Dillon has been a little grumpy at night the past few days. Of course, he has barely napped at all those days! This is for everyone that never gets to see him grumpy. I do have to say, I can not look at this picture without wanting to pick him up and cuddle him. I guess that is why I am his mom!

For once in my life....

I can't think of anything to say. I am so busy right now I do not if I am coming or going. Hopefully it will get better after the Youth Rally on the 13th and 14th. Stay tuned for the Miss America recap.

Buy me dinner?

If I do not have water at my house during the dinner hour, don't you think the City should have to buy my dinner? We did not have water yesterday afternoon. Not fun with a baby! We also went for a walk and then could not shower before going out for dinner. I bet all at Falt Branch enjoyed that! Anyway, it finally came back on early evening and we got our much needed showers. I guess it could have been worse...it could have been 90 degrees outside.
