Rolling over

Dillon rolled over yesterday! Of course, I missed it and have yet to see him do it. Jason got to see it, so I was glad for that. I am hoping to see him do it soon.

He is 4 months old today!! I can't believe it.

We bought him an exersaucer...he likes it alot. He is starting to figure out all the toys.

Holiday Daze

Yes, I am still in the holiday daze! Time goes by way too fast we you are off work. We stayed around the homestead for Thanksgiving. We went a few blocks to Curt and Krista's and had a wonderful dinner. Dillon managed to fill his pants at the dinner table - he gets that from his father.

Friday night Jon and Leslie came over. It was nice visiting with them. We got caught up on each others lives.

Saturday we drove to Iowa, Dillon did not sleep that night, drove home Sunday in a hail storm - basically drove too far for a 24 hour visit. Oh well, holidays!! He is back to sleeping good again.

He goes for his 4 month check-up Friday afternoon. You know what that means, more shots! Yuck!

The countdown continues -- 2 classes left.

Customer Service Nightmare

And it is not even Christmas yet! I had issues with Wal-Mart and Taco Bell yesterday. I know I should not be surprised, but darn it, doesn't anyone believe in customer service anymore? It amazes me that employees will now argue with the customer. I was always taught not to do that! I would have gotten in a lot of trouble if a supervisor saw me do that. And yes, I did work customer service jobs, specifically at Payless Cashways. Yeah, everyone should work in a hardware store as a women just once.

BTW

Curt and Krista rock! They stayed with Dill Pill last night so Jason and I could go to dinner alone! That was awesome and we really apprciate it. Thanks guys.

Nicknames

Somehow our oldest cat and our son ended up with nicknames. Bailey, our oldest cat, was first Bailey Boodles, then she became boodles, and now she is just boods. Don't ask, I have no idea.

Dillon started out as pootsie. Once again, do not ask. Then he became poots. We are trying to break ourselves of this nickname. My mother says he will die when he is 15 and we call him that. I agree, but it is hard to break that habit. We call him other names too - the list is too long to post.

It is official, I have three classes left and will graduate in December!!! Here is your daily dose of Poots!

Once you become a parent...

People think they are automatically bonded with you enough to ask you personal questions. And me, not thinking, I answer them. For example, the cashier in QT Sunday asked me if I was formula feeding my baby. Hello! That is none of her business, but I was dumb enough to answer instead of telling her that. (Which she told me was the reason he was so big. He is not big, he is in the 60 percentile for weight.) Kind of like when people used to ask me if my pregnancy was planned. Oh the things people will ask and tell you.

Is it really November?

I can't believe it is November. Where has this year gone? It seems like Jason just got back from Tucson and Dillon is three months old already. The time has flown. I am almost done with school - thank heavens. Jason and I are talking about having an open house in December to celebrate. (I figure I paid all that money, I might as well have a party!) I am not sure I am going to know what to do with all my time once school is over. Oh yeah, have a NORMAL life enjoying my family! I will also get to start running again!

So anyway, back to the school topic. I do not want to seem full of myself, but I am excited that I am almost done with my Masters. I never thought the day would get here. I worked really hard to get it and can't wait to hold the title!!

Have a good day!
