Smiles!

Brodie is smiling and baby talking! Finally - he is acting like a little human. Now the fun begins.

Yesterday Dillon turned 3! Jason and I bought him a bike. He rode it all around Wal-Mart! (Yes, we bought a bike at Wal-Mart. Not till he is older can he have a nice one. I am a mean mom!)

Hopefully he can ride it soon and I will post pictures!! It is way too cute!

Boring

Not a lot going on right now. Life is boring and that is fine. We ventured to Iowa to visit my family and have a birthday party for Dillon this weekend. It was a nice trip. I cannot believe that Dillon is going to be 3 on Wednesday. Brodie will be 7 weeks that day too!

I have to go back to work in a few weeks and am worried about sleep and work. Brodie has been keeping me up at least 4 times a night for the past few nights. I am not sure how I can function (work) with that little sleep. I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.

We still have not had a lot of visitors. Come see us! It is a zoo and mayhem most nights, but it is our life right now!!

Catch 22

Right now my life is full of catch 22 situations. I can't win for anything. Too long to explain - but it really sucks!

Finally! A Picture!

Here he is. I still have not had announcements made or have I sent out thank you notes yet. Sorry everyone! I cannot get my rear end in gear. Actually, I can but all I do is feed Brodie and discipline Dillon. I thought the terrible twos were bad, but this 3 year old stuff is way worse! He is still my baby though! Dillon is starting to interact with Brodie and Brodie eats it up. I think they are going to be partners in crime!!

That is all my life consists of now so that is it!! Enjoy your week.

Boo-Boo's

Dillon cracks me up. The other day he was talking about boo-boo's. I was lost. After thinking for a bit, I asked him how Mommy feeds brother. He replied, " With your boo-boo's!" I nearly died laughing. So now, he is obsessed with boo-boo's. He finds his, his Dad's and of course, Mommy's. We tried to explain that you do not ask to see peoples boo-boo's but we'll see if he gets that. I apologize in advance if my child tries to molest you by finding your boo-boo's!!

Surviving

That is what we are doing ever day! Things are going good - just harder with two.

We did nothing on the 4th - not too much to do. The drive home to our families still seems a little long right now. I was about ready to kill some people setting off fireworks at 4 in the morning!

Come visit - we'd love to see some people.

While holding a baby...

We'll see if I can type and spell since I am doing this while holding Brodie!

My birthday came and went without any fanfare! That was OK since we had been through enough. I got my cake thanks to my Mom!! Feel free to bring more cake. I figure since I am nursing, I can afford a piece of cake a day!! I may celebrate it again on July 23rd - why not?!?!

We are trying to get to some sort of normalcy here at our house and so far, are pretty unsuccessful!

We ventured out last night for Mexican. Funny story - Dillon races his Dad at everything...walking up stairs, going to the car, etc. So we were sitting there and eating and Dillon shouts out, "Daddy, don't beat me!" He was referring to him beating him eating dinner, but of course, no one else knows that! It was really funny. Hopefully, DFS does not stop by the house today! :-)
