No longer a baby!

My son officially graduated to a toddler bed tonight. Yet another sign that he is no longer my baby. He is a little man. (Sigh)

We put up put Christmas tree earlier this week. We broke down, spent the money and bought a nice one. I love it. It is one of the pre-lite ones and it is pretty tall (as tall as it can be for our little house.) I am glad we decided to buy it, especially since we did decide to stay home for Christmas. I can't wait to watch Dillon unwrap present at his house on Christmas morning! I may not get out of my PJ's all that day!!

Now on to the Christmas shopping...

Well as much as I like Holidays and my family, I am so glad that is over! The traveling kills me and the rest of the crew. Dillon now has a cold and is not feeling well. Jason and I have not slept in 4 days and we almost died on icy roads. I am thinking of staying home for Christmas and avoiding the traffic and hassle.

Now back to the daily grind. 4 weeks till Christmas!!

Tomorrow is Friday!

I am taking a few days off to try and relax, so tomorrow is my Friday! I am so excited. I can't remember the last time I had a weekday off.

Not to get into another "people suck" rant, but I have figured something out. I firmly believe you can peg an individuals personality by how they drive. I will leave it at that.

I hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving and have fun!!

Tired, tired

I was so out of it last night. In the middle of the night, Dillon came in to our room and started climbing in to bed with us. I did not even wake up until he was already in and wallering me! Of course, he then proceeded to get out of bed two more times last night. He has had gunk in his eyes that past few mornings - I have a feeling he might be getting something fun.

Nothing new, looking forward to Thanksgiving and a few days off!!

Is it a man thing or a two-year old thing?

My son does not listen. Not at all! Am I being clear? If his life depended on listening, he still would not do it. I am trying to decide if it is a man thing or just a two-year old thing. Everyone tells me, oh he is just two, don't worry about it. I think those people are crazy! For one, most of them don't have kids or they have babies that cannot talk yet. Don't get me wrong, I love Dillon - I really would not want him any other way. Everyday it is a new challenge. Again, something they don't tell you before you have a child.

This weekend Dillon and I were alone for most of it. Dillon and I went to KC Friday night and met my mom there. I had to work Saturday morning and Jason went with a group to ride. He was gone till 7:30 Saturday night, so we did not see too much of him. Curt and Krista were here Friday and Saturday, so they helped me with Dillon at dinner Saturday night (so I could eat too). Sunday brought church, the grocery store, naps, and the mall. So much for our weekend! I hate that.

So I have felt a little under the weather lately. It really stinks. I have done nothing but work and come home. I don't know if it the change of the weather or what? The temperatures are still back and forth so much, that may be the issue. I know a lot of people are sick right now.

We are getting our trees trimmed today. They are out of control. I am excited to see how much better the front will look once that is done.

Fun, huh?

I am a terrible mom. We do not have any pictures from Halloween! I know - I suck! Dillon wouldn't leave his costume on for the day care party and then at night, we forgot the camera. I swear! Someday I will get this stuff down.
