not content

I am restless...not content at all. When I say this, I am not talking about my family. I am talking about the way I feel with myself and things around me. If you know me, you know that I often have had the feeling that I was destine to do something very big with my life. I am not talking stardom or anything like that. I doubt I will be famous...just big for my life. I have always felt like there are big things on the horizon for me and my family. That feeling went away about a year ago. Not sure why or how. I am guessing it did not go away. I am guessing it was just buried since I was struggling with a new baby and trying to get my family somewhat balanced with adding a child. Well, I think it is back. I think that is why I am restless and not content. It does not put me in a bad mood - it is just fustrating. I think I know what I was meant to do and I need to figure out how to make it happen.

Girls Night!

I organized a girl's night out. I had not had one in...I cannot even remember how long, so I thought the time was right. Since my birthday is around the corner and all!! Here are some pictures from the night. They are not real good, but you can see we all had fun!!

Pirate's Landing

There is a kid's swim park in Columbia called Pirate's Cove. My friend Kelci arrange for some of us gals and kids to meet there today. I was apprehensive about taking the two boys alone...you know, water involved and all...but I decided to go anyway.

The boys were good and we all had a great time. I am ready to take the boys back very soon. Hopefully daddy can be in tow this time. I am blessed to have two boys that love water.

On that note, I am looking for a way to work only 4 days. Hmmmm, any ideas? My other option is not working during the summers. I don't mind working...I would just like to work when I want to!!!

I thought there was something up...

Brodie had been a little crabby this week. I could not quite figure it out. Last night after his bath, I noticed there was a tooth pushing through on the bottom in the back. I felt the other side...it is not through yet, but I can feel it. Molars!! I totally forgot about them coming in before the incisors! I read that these hurt the worse. It just never seems to end on teeth pain for this kid! So here we are just short of one year old and almost 10 teeth!!

We officially have a walker! Brodie can stand up from a sitting position and take off. He does that more often than not now.
