Whoo-Hooo!!

I am officially Missouri's newest LPC (licensed professional counselor)!! It has been a long time coming and I am very relieved!! Took a lot of work in school, out of school and more. I could not have done it without the support of my wonderful husband. I had Dillon my last semester of grad school and that was hard leaving a baby to go back to class. Thank you Jason for helping me reach my other dream!!

I feel a little celebration coming on!!!

Behind...

I am really behind. Jason and I went to Cancun for a long weekend and it was AWESOME! We are already making plans to go again.

I am home with Dillon today. Yesterday after church, we decided to take the boys to the zoo in STL. (Ok, actually I decided and Jason indulged me.) He was coughing a little while we were there, but we figured it was just allergies. Of course by the end of the day he was pooped....fell asleep on the way home. We ate dinner out and he just wanted to lay in his dad's lap. Came home and took his temp. and it was 102. It is still up this morning and he is coughing, so I guess it off to the Dr for us! Joy.

He birthday party is Saturday and I am going to attempt to make the cake. Wish me luck! It might suck, but I'll give it a whirl!!

Things that make you go, Hmmm.

A nice old school reference for you all!! ;-)

Brodie had his well check last Wednesday. It was not enjoyable at all! He is back on breathing treatments do to a wheeze. The Dr is thinking it may be due to allergies, so we are giving him allergy medicine. He had his ears irrigated. No ear infection!!! Shots...got raked over the coals a little for not giving him the chicken pox vaccine - mostly by a nurse we don't normally see. To top it all off...he had to give blood for a lead test. SWEET times!! Kid always has been and still is a trooper!

So once again, here is my rant. I looked up his growth percentages based on the charts this morning. He is in like the 95% for height and head circumference, but around the 5-10% for his weight!! Have you seen my boy? He is not skinny by any means. (For the record, the Dr was not worried.) Maybe this is what is wrong with the world's weight problem, to be "normal" weight as a baby, one has to be huge!! Seriously!

Sigh...anyway, beyond the breathing treatments he is happy and healthy!!!
