He did it!

Brodie rolled over!! Watch out world! Yikes, I better find the baby gates.

I am pretty sure I am the worst mother ever! Dillon wanted cheese crackers for breakfast, so guess what? He is eating cheese crackers for breakfast. Sometimes I do not want to fight so early in the morning. At least it is not candy, right? That is only once a year at Easter. He gets candy for breakfast that day. (How can you say no to him wanting to eat it after he worked so hard to find it.) Guess it could be worse, huh?

Brodie is so close to rolling over. He actually does it all the way, but cannot get his arm out that is under him. I suspect in the next couple days he will master it. Stay tuned...

Addiction

So I finally decided to read again for fun. I started this book and am totally hooked. I love it. I read and read and my mind just imagines the entire story. I usually have a problem imagining the story as I read, but not now. I cannot wait to get to the other books. Some of my co-workers have read the books and now Jason is reading them. Seriously, read them - you will not be sorry you did.

YUCKY!

I am in a training all week. While the training is good, it is long and tiring. And Brodie is running a fever and I cannot be with him. I have not got to spend time with my family. COME ON FRIDAY!!!!

I did it!

I have been trying to get back into the swing of working out. That for me means walking with a little running thrown in. I was starting to feel like maybe I could run the entire route, so I tried to today. Guess what - I DID IT!! I am very proud of myself. I still have a LONG way to go, but one goal reached - check!

I am shooting for the Jingle Bell Run in December. Surely I can be ready for a 5K by then - yikes! I am hoping it will be warm enough for Dillon to do the tot trot. How cute would that be?

a bunch of misc stuff:

I am sitting here working and I look out the window. The sun is shining and the leave are falling off the tree...ahhh, happiness! I love fall! It is going to be a little hotter than I like this weekend, but oh well.

Brodie will be 4 months old tomorrow. I cannot believe it. He is becoming such a big boy. He really loves his brother and is becoming a daddy's boy!! Mom is just good for feeding him. Speaking of...Brodie starting sleeping through the night at about 2 1/2 months. He was fairly consistent. I would say about one night a week he would get up. It was bliss! Yes, see the "was". He is no longer doing that. He is getting up again in the night. It is killing me. I think he is either going through a growth spurt or is cutting a tooth. After now having a child that can tell you what is wrong - it is hard to go back to not knowing.

Will I get served with divorce papers?

My Wednesday got better. The final act of stupidity was completed on my way home from work. Jason rode to Jeff and we picked up the boys on the way home. I had a check that needed to be cashed so I told him I was going to swing by the bank. Well, I went through the bank drive through with his cross bike on top of the car! I actually tore up the awning more than the bike. I did mange to rip the back half of his saddle off. I am pretty sure he will be divorcing me soon, not completely because of the bike - it will survive. More because he wants to get his kids out of harms way!!

Again, please return my brain to me if you happen upon it. I am pretty sure it went to another country.

Brodie also got up two times last night! Yeah for me!! See what lack of sleep does to you!!

Do NOT Trust Me With Your Children!!

Why do you ask? Cause I locked mine in my car this morning at day care. Yep, that is right. The car was running...all the doors locked. Dillon and Brodie were inside. I went in and got the phone (yep, that was in the car too) and called Jason. During that call, I was yelling at Dillon to roll down the window (while gesturing rolling down a window which is not how it is done anymore). He was laughing and waving at me. At least he was not unhappy or scared - Brodie was asleep. Jason gave me the bright idea to tell him to roll down the window, which he LOVES to do. He did. Dillon saved the day. Very funny now.

On another brainless note, I also left my keys in the ignition of my unlocked car last night. Yep, it was still there this morning. Maybe I am not as far in the hood as I thought I was. If someone finds my brain, will you please bring it back?
